Our stair gates are designed with both functionality and style in mind. They are constructed from high-quality Oak and come with a post to hang the door, a post for the latch, and a back stop. We also provide hinges that are attached to the gate and hinge post, making installation as simple as possible.
We understand that every home is unique, which is why we offer a bespoke made to measure service where you can specify the exact size you require for your gate. All we need are the measurements of the opening, a photo of where it will be located, which side you want the hinges, along with which way it will open. Once the gates are handcrafted in our workshop, they are sanded and finished with two coats of Danish Oil which not only is protective, it also brings out the natural colour of the oak. All gates also come with a heavy duty bolt lock.
Our standard gates are designed to fit up to 95cm in width. Our gates are a standard height of 70cm.Our gates come with easy-to-follow instructions, requiring only five screws to fix them into position, If however you are local to RH13 or RH5 and would prefer us to install, why not contact for a free quote.
Please note that our gates are not intended as safety gates and do not comply with BS standards. We cannot accept liability if they are installed as a safety gate, which results in injury.
Please be aware that our gates are made from natural oak, therefore at times there maybe knots. Furthermore as every gate is different, they may not be exactly as the images are shown.
