Our Story

My First Furniture is a family business run business where even our three year old loves getting involved. We are husband and wife,  Andrew and Cheryl and have two young boys Frederik and Dexter who we take inspiration from their needs to produce high quality children's furniture. 

The idea for My First Furniture had been in the making for a couple of years.  Following the birth of our son Frederik, Andrew started creating wooden furniture from Toy Boxes to our amazing Kitchen Helper, now known as the Kitchen Super Hero. With positive feedback from family and friends, a passion for creating wooden furniture and a nudge in the right direction by Cheryl, the business was born in October 2020.

With Andrew's love of for working with wood and Cheryl's expert knowledge of children's needs, having worked as a Nanny and of course now a full time mum, we make a great team designing and making beautiful childrens furniture, which you will want to keep for many years.

Whether it's our range of furniture or a custom design, we promise to put in a high level of love and care into producing a wonderful piece for your loved one, along with providing a great customer experience along the way.
